Right after the 2nd variant of the pandemic and 2nd lockdown started, the 137th meeting was held with the theme “Prevention is better than cure. The meeting saw the presence of 55 participants with bright and delightful faces. In the beginning, TM Anishka Shakya as Sergeant At Arms began the meeting in a very formal manner disclosing some meeting rules and objectives of the club. Presiding Officer TM Kumar Thapa highlighted the theme and introduced the TMOE Sabina Singh Maharjan. TMOE shared the structure of the meeting and talked about the theme relating to the situation going through.TM Sabina commenced the meeting with lots of healthcare routines and not to play the blame game in this crucial Pandemic time. She then handed over the floor to the general evaluator TM Roshan Ghimire. He introduced all the direct and indirect role players. TM Niladri Parial and TM Mohini Shrestha were the two featured speakers who captivated the audience by giving their Ice-breaking (second path ) and L3P3. The Table Topics Master TM Diptee Acharya got guests from Tourism Toastmasters clubs and Premier School.
Along with the direct evaluators TM Alexandra Wrigley and TM Kumar Thapa, all other technical role players and indirect evaluators appeared to be professional. The Presiding Officer TM Kumar Thapa adjourned the meeting.The TMOE of the next meeting was taken by TMOE Yamuna Manandhar.
